Almost periodic solution for Nicholson’s blowflies model with patch structure and linear harvesting terms

In this paper, we study the existence and exponential convergence of positive almost periodic solutions for a class of Nicholson’s blowflies model with patch structure and multiple linear harvesting terms. Under appropriate conditions, we establish some criteria to ensure that the solutions of this system converge locally exponentially to a positive almost periodic solution. Moreover, we give some examples and numerical simulations to illustrate our main results.     

Backward errors of periodic invariant subspaces for regular periodic matrix pairs

In this paper, the backward error of periodic invariant subspaces for regular periodic pairs is defined and its explicit expression is derived. In particular, we also present the expression of the backward error of generalized invariant subspaces for the regular matrix pair. The results are illustrated by two numerical examples.

A Family of Graded Modules Associated to a Module

In this article we introduce a certain family of graded modules associated to a given module. These modules provide a natural extension of the notion of the associated graded ring of an ideal. We will investigate their properties. In particular, we will try to extend Ree' theorem on the associated graded ring of an ideal generated by a regular sequence to this context.     

Scattering effect of atoms through a Bose-Einstein condensate in an optical Lattice with a single defect

We study the transport of atoms across a localized Bose-Einstein condensate in an onedimensional optical lattice with a single defect. Our analytical and numerical results show that the defect as well as the nonlinear parameter can control the transmission of the atoms beam and the position of total reflection caused by Fano resonance. These interesting features may be a very useful basis for devising tunable atom filters or a button.     

Divagations about the periodic table: Boolean hypercube and quantum similarity connections

In this study, several simple aspects associated with the periodic table (PT) of the elements are commented. First, the connection of the PT with the structure of a seven-dimensional Boolean hypercube leads afterward to discuss the nature of those PT elements bearing prime atomic numbers. Second, the use of quantum similarity (QS) to obtain an alternative insight on the PT element relations will be also developed. The foundation of the second part starts admitting that any element of the PT can be attached to a schematic electronic density function, constructed with a single Gaussian function: a Gaussian atomic density function, allowing to consider the PT elements as a set of quantum objects, and permits a straightforward construction of a QS matrix. Such QS scheme can be applied to the whole PT or to any subset of it. Manipulation of the QS matrices attached to any quantum object set allows the evaluation of statistical-like values, acting as coordinates to numerically or graphically represent the chosen PT atomic element sets. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.     

一种刺松藻来源的硫酸阿拉伯聚糖的制备及特征结构表征

刺松藻(Codium fragile)经水提-醇沉获得粗多糖, 进一步将刺松藻粗多糖(CFP) 通过Q-Sepharose Fast Flow(QFF) 阴离子交换柱纯化得到6个多糖组分CFP1CFP6, 其中, 在CFP6中发现纯度较高的阿拉伯聚糖. 采用高效凝胶渗透色谱与十八角激光散射仪联用法和1-苯基-3-甲基-5-吡唑啉酮(PMP)柱前衍生高效液相色谱法对CFP6的分子量及单糖组成进行了分析. 结果表明, CFP6是一种分子量为79290的多糖, 由阿拉伯糖(Ara)和半乳糖(Gal)组成, 二者摩尔比为14.8:1.0. 通过多维核磁共振波谱、 液相色谱-质谱联用及二级质谱等方法对CFP6的糖苷键连接方式及其寡糖序列结构进行表征, 进一步阐明了该复杂多糖的特征结构. 经判断, CFP6主链由Ara组成, 通过 β-(1→3)糖苷键连接, 在Ara的C2位存在分支结构, 硫酸基位于Ara的C4或C2位.

This article cites the main historical facts and documents available to unscramble the above four stages, which will facilitate the teaching and scientific research of the periodic table.
